Our History

How It All Started

Sharing a deep passion for fitness. Admiring the commitment and dedication of athletes. A calling to help individuals who need assistance with getting back to being healthy, so they can start, recover, or continue being an athlete to reach their fitness goals. Wanting to help prevent injuries, ease pain, and improve performance and mechanics.

Meet Our Team

Running Coach

Starting at a young age, Scott Millman has had a passion for health, fitness, and sports. He was a student-athlete participating on the hockey and golf teams and began running in his late 20s.

He has become highly involved in the running community, becoming an Orange Mud and Dirt Unit Ambassador, Dallas Dirt Runners Administrator, and an RRCA Certified Running Coach.

Scott has built and continues to grow his running career completing races across the USA from 50k to 100k with his eye on completing 100 miles in 2023. He is an avid ultra-marathoner with decades of endurance training, trail racing, OCR racing (Spartan Races), adventure racing, mountain biking experience, and more. During his running career, he has faced all the highs and lows as well as the successes and failures that come with training and racing. 

 

Outside of running, he is a businessman/entrepreneur and a Master Golf Teaching Professional USGTF.

Physical Therapist

Since before college Laura Millman has always had a passion for health, fitness, and sports. She was a student-athlete participating on the volleyball, basketball, and soccer teams during middle school and high school, and club soccer while pursuing her degree.

In 1996 she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Health Science and a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy.

 

She began her road running career in 2005 completing seven half marathons and 2 full marathons. She has recently taken up trail running with her eye set on expanding her running career to complete a trail race in the next year.

Outside of running she has 25+ years of experience under her belt as a physical therapist. She has tended to many patients over the years encountering almost every type of injury and surgical procedure you can think of. She has had experience in women's health and home health care with a main focus on treating orthopedic patients. She has worked with numerous professional, college, and high school athletes as well as the casual runner and weekend warrior.

Our Physical therapist has extensive knowledge and tools to teach the importance and techniques for pre-rehab to help you stay injury-free and rehab injuries sustained by various athletes of all levels and ages.
